PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (aka #PUBG), who are known for its mobile version in India is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.
Due to the lockdown, several companies from gaming industry have been releasing well renowned PC games for free. As a measure to keep people in their homes #playaparttogether has been in trends ever since the lockdown started in various countries. Now PUBG in their official social media handles have announced that they'll be making PUBG for PC available for free from June 4th to June 8th in STEAM.
But there's a catch to it, the game can be downloaded only temporarily as gamers will have to pay ₹499 (50% off ) if they want to permanently buy the game to continue playing even after June 8th. Also another drawback of this is that, they will not be able to make any micro-transactions or purchases from the in-game store until they purchase the game.
It is worth noting that PUBG had recently updated its game to include new features such as ranked match, bots in matches and various other in-game improvements.
